Creativity has always coursed through my veins. As a child, while some were playing baseball or Nintendo 64, I was taking art lessons and studying the paintings of Michelangelo and the Old Masters (I had a strange childhood). Fast forward through the emergence of the iPhone, Instagram, and the digital revolution and now there are entirely new platforms for me to express my creativity and at my core is an intense desire to design.

Design is not an occupation for me, but a lifestyle. I am constantly redesigning the world around me. Whether that be how to improve the beverage process at Starbucks, or the ratio of hot dogs and buns and why they should be the same. It’s the little things.

My design mantra is to be beautifully intelligent. While many designers attempt to make something beautiful, ‘pretty’ is not enough. A design must also be meaningful and useful. When crafting designs, I bring together beauty and function. And when completed, end users leave my designs feeling a little bit happier.
